Raul Meel, the internationally recognized Estonian artist, has created virtual copies of the Song of Songs in eleven languages: Dutch, French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian, Finnish and Estonian – all the versions are presented in the exhibition in Belgium, in the Arts Library of Ghent University along with the other exhibits. The wide exhibition of Raul Meel in Ghent is opened from the April 20th till May 28th, 2010.
Currently, the twelfth and the last book is being prepared: the Latvian version. The only printed version available in a form of an exceptional book is the English one. The work in each language is unique, each page revealing a different graphic form.
