Jaan Toomik's exhibition in Riga

A comprehensive overview exhibition of Jaan Toomik's creative work “Neredzamās pērles” („Invisible Pearls”) has been spread over the brand-new exhibition ground of Riga Art Space located in the Old Town of Riga, mainly focusing on Toomik's video work of the last years. Toomik's newer painting work, which has never before been exposed, can be seen as well. In addition to video works, such as „Peeter and Mart” (2001-2), „Dancing with Father” (2003), „Liina” (2003), „Invisible Pearls” (2004), „Jaanika” (2007) also Toomik's first try as a film director - a 12 minute short film „Communion” (2007) is being displayed. The curator of the exhibition is Ieva Kulakova
